The National University of Córdoba, the Board of Physicians, the Medical Society and the Deontologic and Scientific Associations have worked together to come to an agreement on the new work philosophy of health and on the number of human resources to be trained. This research shows the estimate of the number of physicians needed for the province, analyzesthe need for training in the different specialties based on the new sanitary model as well as theirdistribution. Likewise, it concludes by saying that, in the last four years, the Health Department and the UNC have been able to coordinate a health policy in order to offer training in accordance with the established policies. Vista la necesidad de Capacitar el Recurso Humano para el funcionamiento de un nuevo sistema de salud, en 1999 se reformuló el sistema sanitario en la provincia de Córdoba con una propuesta de Reorganización y Reorientación. Se ha trabajado en forma conjunta con la Universidad Nacional de Córdoba, Consejo de Médicos, Círculo Médico, Sociedades Científicas y Deontológicas para acordar la nueva filosofía de trabajo en salud y el número de recursos humanos a formar. El presente trabajo muestra la estimación del número de profesionales médicos necesarios para la provincia, analiza las necesidades de formación de las distintas especialidades en función del nuevo modelo sanitaria, como así también la distribución de los mismos. Así mismo concluye diciendo que el Ministerio de Salud y la UNC han logrado en los últimos cuatro años, coordinar una política de salud, para ofrecer capacitacion acorde a las políticas establecidas.
