The vision of theresearch processes in SP address two main areas: generating theareas: generating the necessary knowledge to understand the causes andunderstanding the causes and factors that influence health conditions from ahealth conditions from a population perspectiveand to evaluate and explain the effect of different policies, interventions anddifferent policies, interventions and mechanisms for organising systems andand mechanisms for organising health systems andhealth service delivery. La investigación en Salud Pública (SP) se centra en los pilares que indagan, analizan y explican los condicionantes del estado de salud poblacional, así como factores determinantes y las complejas respuestas surgidas del entramado social, con el objetivo de dar soluciones a los problemas de salud, desde una mirada colectiva. La visión de los procesos investigativos en SP abordan dos grandes áreas: generar los conocimientos necesarios para entender las causas y factores que influyen en las condiciones de salud con una perspectiva poblacional y, evaluar y explicar el efecto que ejercen en dichas condiciones las diferentes políticas, intervenciones y mecanismos de organización de sistemas y de prestación de servicios de salud.   A investigação no domínio da saúde pública (SP) centra-se nos pilares que investigam, analisam e explicamnos pilares que investigam, analisam e explicam os factores determinantes dodeterminantes do estado de saúde da população,bem como os determinantes e as respostas complexase as respostas complexas decorrentes da rede social, com o objetivo depara dar soluções aos problemas de saúde, de um ponto de vista coletivoproblemas de saúde, de um ponto de vista coletivo.
