Sumario:The Human Papillomavirus (HPV) is a sexually transmitted virus that can cause cancer. The objective of this study was to determine the relationship between information level and preventive attitudes regarding HPV in 100 students of Nutrition Sciences at the Catholic University of Cordoba. A validated questionnaire was used with 22 questions regarding behavior and information about HPV.  Information was assessed as: regular, good and very good and preventive attitude as grade I and grade II. Forty percent of the students has a very good level of information on HPV and 52% has a preventive attitude grade II. It was observed that there is an association between the level of information regarding HPV and HPV preventive attitude (p=0.0019). Seventy-two percent of the students had not undergone sexually transmitted diseases tests. It is advisable to strengthen prevention and promotion campaigns on sexual health.
