As a software tool, we opted for the use of a simulator that -in the inter-subject articulation proposal- contemplates the appropriation of different disciplinary contents. The methodology that contributes to the concretion of the results represented in the strategy and its validation proposal in four subjects of a career in the Computer Science discipline is exposed. El artículo presenta una estrategia sustentada en el desarrollo de competencias genéricas y metodologías activas centradas en los estudiantes adoptando algunos principios del aprendizaje basado en problemas en combinación con la clase invertida. Como herramienta software se optó por el uso de un simulador que -en la propuesta de articulación inter-cátedras- contempla la apropiación de distintos contenidos disciplinares. Se expone la metodología que aporta a la concreción de los resultados representados en la estrategia y su propuesta de validación en cuatro asignaturas de una carrera de la disciplina Informática.
