Although the scale construction method comprises clearly defined steps, the term Likert is used in multiple ways and has been found applied to both scales and items. The objective of this paper is to analyze the use of the word Likert in studies referring to the measurement of OL and to examine its potential association with the year of publication. Eighty-seven empirical studies were analyzed using univariate and bivariate descriptive techniques, and a correspondence analysis was performed, concluding that the Likert-type expression is found mostly in publications from the early years (periods 1997-2002 and 2003-2008) and that, in recent periods (2009-2014 and 2015-2020) the use of Likert is predominant. The work contributes to accounting for the diversity of terms used in the field of OL measurement in reference to the Likert scale, and the existence of an association between the years of publication and the terms used. La escala de Likert (1932), aplicada con el objetivo de medir actitudes mediante el relevamiento del nivel de acuerdo de un sujeto a una serie de ítems, es ampliamente utilizada en las Ciencias Sociales y, especialmente, en el campo del Aprendizaje Organizacional (AO). Si bien el método de construcción de la escala comprende pasos claramente definidos, el término Likert es utilizado de múltiples maneras y se lo ha encontrado aplicado tanto a escalas como a ítems. El presente trabajo tiene por objetivo analizar el uso de la palabra Likert en estudios referidos a la medición del AO y examinar su potencial asociación con el año de publicación. Se analizaron 87 estudios empíricos mediante técnicas descriptivas univariadas y bivariadas y se realizó un análisis de correspondencias concluyéndose que la expresión Likert-type se encuentra mayoritariamente en publicaciones de los primeros años (períodos 1997-2002 y 2003-2008) y que, en períodos más recientes (2009-2014 y 2015-2020) es preponderante el uso de Likert. El trabajo contribuye a dar cuenta de la diversidad de términos utilizados en el campo de la medición del AO en referencia a la escala de Likert, y de la existencia de asociación entre los años de publicación y los términos utilizados.
