In this sense, if energy, as many other elements on the universe, has a behavioral structure compatible with the F numbers, we should start talking about concepts such as the Fibonacci space-time-energy dimension. The design of energy efficiency mechanisms based on the Fibonacci sequence constitutes a challenge on a macroscopic scale that would allow improving energy, economic and natural resources management, thus cooperating with the reduction of energy intensity and atmospheric carbon emissions. Las emisiones exacerbadas de carbono atmosférico, producto de más de un siglo de actividades antropogénicas, han permitido, a la humanidad y a las diversas especies del planeta, navegar sin brújula en un gran océano de crisis climática. El desarrollo de nuevos paradigmas científicos, la consolidación de nuevos sistemas de gobernanza climática y la implementación de novedosos sistemas de gestión de la energía, es una necesidad tan trascendente como prioritaria para los Estados soberanos de todos los continentes. En este trabajo, se presenta una breve reseña de los descubrimientos científicos de las últimas décadas que han incorporado la secuencia numérica de Fibonacci a nivel microscópico, con importantes resultados a nivel tecnológico, energético y ambiental. En este sentido, si la energía, así como un gran número de elementos del universo, poseen una estructura de comportamiento compatible con los números F, se debería comenzar a hablar de conceptos como la dimensión espacio-tiempo-energética de Fibonacci. El diseño de mecanismos de eficiencia energética basado en la secuencia de Fibonacci constituye un desafío a escala macroscópica que permitiría mejorar la gestión de los recursos energéticos, económicos y naturales, colaborando con la reducción de la intensidad energética y las emisiones de carbono atmosférico.
