Sumario:Six Sigma is a methodology of improvement in the field of quality management. It has been applied with success in many companies, however in others, the same results have not achieved.Different factors and concepts are involved in the application of this methodology, some tend to be neglected or misinterpreted at the time of its implementation and impact negatively on the resolution of those problems which arise as improvement projects.The objective of this study is to identify those factors and key concepts involved in the application of the methodology Six Sigma, in order to make a contribution to future applications of the method.
