Six Sigma es una metodología de mejora en el ámbito de Gestión de la Calidad. Ha sido aplicada con éxito en numerosas empresas, sin embargo en otras, no se han logrado los mismos resultados.Diferentes factores y conceptos intervienen en la aplicación de esta metodología, algunos suelen ser descuidados y/o mal interpretados a la hora de su implementación y repercuten negativamente en la resolución de aquellos problemas que se plantean como proyectos de mejora.El objetivo de este trabajo es identificar cuáles son esos factores y conceptos claves que intervienen en la aplicación de la metodología Six Sigma, con el propósito de realizar un aporte a futuras aplicaciones del método.
