Since recent published papers the article define the meaning of azmapu, an autonomous law different from positive right. Furthermore, since decolonial turn perspectives, the article intend an explanation on the conceptual and ontological differences between azmapu and the westernized way of right. El siguiente artículo releva elementos de interés para acercarse a una propuesta normativa desde la manera de pensar del pueblo mapuche. A partir de trabajos recientemente publicados al respecto, se define la significación de az mapu, una forma propia de regulación diferente al derecho positivo. Además, el trabajo elabora a partir de las teorías del giro decolonial, una explicación de las diferencias conceptuales y ontológicas entre la forma de derecho azmapu y el derecho occidental.
