Sumario:Over the past three decades in Argentina they were implemented state policies to respond to the problem of inequality between women and men (Rodigou, Lopez, 2012; Rodriguez likes, 2008; Vila, 1987). Currently, there is a growing scholarly interest in the issues and research emphasize the role of the state in the responsibility of providing solutions through effective public policies (Arriagada, 2006; Guzman, 2001; Incháustegui Romero, 1999; Rodigou, Lopez, 2012). However, studies analyzing these public policies are dissimilar from one to another in terms of conceptual definitions and systematize them. Often they named as gender public policies when in fact they are policies for women and viceversa, and often judgments about the proprieties of the first set out at the expense of the latter. Given this, the objective of this work is to systematize the conceptual frameworks of policy and provide a proposed methodology of analysis. It uses the descriptive comparison to recognize regularities, differences and similarities between the dimensions and categories of the types of policies.
