Whitin Santiago’s Metropolitan area, on the outskirts of the city, there’s the existence of numerous housing complexes with precarious standards for daily life. These residential areas outcome in a women’s socio-territorial vulnerability status, since they inhabit them for extended periods of time throughout the day. In the effort to mitigate the covid-19 pandemic, local authorities have imposed measurements that require longer quarantines and confinement by staying inside the house. This article aims to reveal the socio spatial dynamics of women in their housing environment in relation to care and work activities that those health measurements require, also point out towards the discussion existing on behalf the inequalities in which women are inserted, specially focusing on the women living in Villa Marta Brunet, El Volcán II and III in Bajos de Mena locality. The results obtained visualize a critical relationship and territorial reorganizations on these three scales: urban environment, neighborhood, and housing. La vivienda social es uno de los temas con mayor atingencia en Chile. En el área Metropolitana de Santiago existen conjuntos de vivienda con estándares precarios en las periferias de la ciudad. Estas zonas habitaciones sitúan a las mujeres en vulnerabilidad socio territorial al habitarlas en mayor temporalidad. Con la llegada del Covid-19, el Estado impuso medidas con cuarentenas largas dejando la vivienda para realizar las actividades de la vida cotidiana. Este articulo tiene como objetivo develar las dinámicas socioespaciales de las mujeres en su entorno habitacional con relación a las tareas de cuidados y actividades laborales con las medidas sanitarias del covid-19, asimismo, aportar a la discusión sobre las desigualdades en las que se inserta a las mujeres. El estudio se focalizo en mujeres que habitan en la Villa Marta Brunet, El Volcán II y III en Bajos de Mena. Los resultados visualizan una relación crítica y reorganizaciones territoriales en tres escalas; el entorno urbano, el barrio y la vivienda.
