Sumario:This paper presents the conclusions of the doctoral thesis entitled “Accountability of the United Nations for Internationally Wrongful Acts: Peacekeeping Operations and Immunities”, which describes and analyses the attribution of responsibility to the United Nations for internationally wrongful acts committed during its Peacekeeping Operations. The core of the argumentation lies in the legal nature of Peacekeeping Operations with their particular and specific characteristics defining them, and the normative framework governing international responsibility in such cases.
