No hay democracia sin Estado de Derecho y no hay Estado de Derecho sin independencia judicial. El presente trabajo analiza los parámetros existentes a este respecto en el Derecho Internacional, su exigencia en orden a la participación como miembro de determinadas Organizaciones Internacionales y la jurisprudencia de los principales órganos judiciales internacionales existentesen los sistemas regionales europeo (TEDH y TJUE) y americano (Corte IDH).
