This was the understanding of national and international law. The work of minors has sanctioned in the country as a crime with imprisonment those who profit financially from the work of a child in violation of national standards that prohibit child labor. El trabajo de los menores, que es una de las formas de subordinación laboral, comprendida en el ámbito de las “zonas grises” del Derecho del Trabajo, obliga a una serie de reflexiones, si realmente hay una propuesta de respetar el desarrollo del hombre y el mejor goce de sus derechos fundamentales, así lo ha entendido la legislación nacional e internacional, llegando en el país a sancionarse como delito y con pena de prisión a quien se aprovechare económicamente del trabajo de un niño o niña en violación a las normas nacionales que prohíben el trabajo infantil.
