Density of aerobic celulolitic microorganisms, nitrogen-fixing (gen. Azotobacter) and nitrifying bacteria, effect on nodulation, on the overall biological activity and on the yield of crop, were evaluated. Statistical analysis did not show significant differences. So the conclusion was that Trifluralina at normal dosis, or double dosis to those recommended commercially, does not affect any of the parameters studied in relation to the microflora or the yield of crop in groundnut farming. Se analizó el efecto de la aplicación de Trifluralina en dosis normales y dobles sobre ciertas propiedades biológicas del suelo, en la zona de Manfredi, Pcia. de Córdoba (Argentina) cultivado con maní y diseño de bloques al azar. Se evaluó la densidad de los grupos de microorganismos celululíticos aerobios, fijadores de nitrógeno de vida libre (Género Azotobacter) y nitrificadores; defecto sobre nodulación, actividad biológica global y rendimiento del cultivo. El análisis estadístico no presentó diferencias significativas. Se concluyó que la Trifluralina en dosis normales y dobles a las recomendadas comercialmente, no afectó a ninguno de los parámetros estudiados de la microflora ni el rendimiento del cultivo del maní.
