Every fifteen days, between June and December 2022, sixty leaves, sixty flowers and sixty strawberry fruits were extracted from three farms in Jujuy. In total, 2279 thrips were collected, 41% in leaves, 39% in flowers and 20% in fruits, and the five species were identified: Caliothrips phaseoli Hood, Frankliniella gemina Bagnall, Frankliniella schultzei (Trybom), Neohydatothrips burungae (Hood) and Haplothrips gowdeyi (Franklin), in addition to Thrips tabaci Lind., Frankliniella occidentalis (Pergande), Scirtidothrips torquatus Hood and Haplothrips (Trybomiella) trellesi Moulton, cited for Argentina. In Jujuy, the dominant species in leaves was C. phaseoli, and F. schultzei stood out in flowers and fruits. The identification key will allow determining the species of thrips directly associated with strawberry cultivation in Argentina. Los trips (Thysanoptera) constituyen uno de los grupos plaga del cultivo de frutilla. Los objetivos del estudio fueron ampliar la información sobre la asociación de las especies trips con el cultivo de frutilla en la Argentina mediante la recolección de estos insectos de hojas, flores y frutos del cultivo en la provincia de Jujuy y presentar una clave ilustrada para la determinación de las especies encontradas en el país. Quincenalmente, entre junio y diciembre de 2022 se extrajeron sesenta hojas, sesenta flores y sesenta frutos de frutilla, en tres fincas de Jujuy. En total se recolectaron 2279 trips, 41 % en hojas, 39 % en flores y 20 % en frutos, y se identificaron cinco especies: Caliothrips phaseoli Hood, Frankliniella gemina Bagnall, Frankliniella schultzei (Trybom), Neohydatothrips burungae (Hood) y Haplothrips gowdeyi (Franklin), a las que se suman Thrips tabaci Lind., Frankliniella occidentalis (Pergande), Scirtidothrips torquatus Hood y Haplothrips (Trybomiella) trellesi Moulton, citadas para la Argentina. En Jujuy, la especie dominante en hojas fue C. phaseoli, y en flores y frutos se destacó F. schultzei. La clave de identificación permitirá determinar las especies de trips asociadas directamente al cultivo de frutilla en Argentina.
