The (new) right and its militarist allies are not new phenomena, although the singularity of a time-space always imbues them with novelty. The year 2023 marked a milestone we thought impossible: the composition of extreme right-wing and militarist forces managed to reach a presidential formula (there were already parliamentarians and more) and managed to constitute a tense and gloomy ballotage in the new presidency of Argentina. What (happened) to us? Given the various and unforeseen constraints of this year, we did not manage to organise a Dossier as we have done in previous volumes. Even so, we were able to give this issue an identity from La Polémica. On the basis of the questions raised in the call for papers and others suggested later, local leaders put forward their positions on the challenge that summons us: to question and rethink some of the drifts of what, from certain political and social sectors, we can polemically understand as a ‘feminist malpractice’ (disidentifying, ‘piantavotos’) or, on the contrary, to strengthen and perseveringly erect the practices and banners that we consider to be inalienable. La Polémica is still open and we look forward to your participation. |

Las (nuevas) derechas y sus aliadas militaristas no son fenómenos nuevos, aunque la singularidad de un tiempo-espacio siempre impregna de novedad. El año 2023 marcó un hito que creíamos imposible: la composición de fuerzas de extrema derecha y militaristas lograba llegar a una fórmula presidencial (ya había parlamentarios/as y más) y lograba constituirse en un ballotage tenso y sombrío en la nueva presidencia de Argentina. ¿Qué (nos) pasó? Dadas las diversas e imprevistas limitaciones de este año, no llegamos a organizar un Dossier como venimos haciendo en los volúmenes previos. Aún así pudimos darle identidad a este número desde La Polémica. A partir de los interrogantes desplegados en la convocatoria y otros sugeridos posteriormente, referentes locales plantearon sus posicionamientos frente al desafío que nos convoca: cuestionar y replantear algunas de las derivas de lo que, desde ciertos sectores políticos y sociales, podemos entender polémicamente como una “mala praxis feminista” (desindentificatoria, “piantavotos”) o, por el contrario, fortalecer y erigir con perseverancia las prácticas y banderas que consideramos irrenunciables. La Polémica sigue abierta y esperamos con ansias su participación. A (nova) direita e seus aliados militaristas não são fenômenos novos, embora a singularidade de um espaço-tempo sempre os imbua de novidade. O ano de 2023 foi um marco que julgávamos impossível: a composição de forças de extrema direita e militaristas conseguiu chegar a uma fórmula presidencial (já havia parlamentares e mais) e conseguiu constituir uma votação tensa e sombria na nova presidência da Argentina. O que (aconteceu) conosco? Devido às várias e imprevistas limitações deste ano, não conseguimos organizar um Dossiê como fizemos em volumes anteriores. Mesmo assim, conseguimos dar a esta edição uma identidade da La Polêmica. Com base nas questões levantadas na chamada de trabalhos e em outras sugeridas posteriormente, os líderes locais apresentaram suas posições sobre o desafio que nos convoca: questionar e repensar alguns dos desvios do que, a partir de certos setores políticos e sociais, podemos entender polemicamente como uma “má prática feminista” (desidentificação, “piantavotos”) ou, ao contrário, fortalecer e erguer com perseverança as práticas e bandeiras que consideramos inalienáveis. A polêmica ainda está aberta e aguardamos sua participação.
