Through the identification of speech topics and narrative strategies, we attempt to explore the enunciative possibilities opened by that text, related with the problematization of the social and cultural configuration of the feminine and the setting in debate of the meanings located in the significant “woman" in nineteenth-century England. Este artículo aborda la novela Cumbres borrascosas de Emily Brontë, en la perspectiva de la historia del pensamiento, como un experimento narrativo inscripto en la tradición de la hermenéutica de sí, y marcado por la atmósfera del momento romántico pos-revolucionario. A través de la identificación de los tópicos discursivos y las estrategias narrativas, intentamos explorar las posibilidades enunciativas habilitadas en ese texto para la problematización de la configuración socio-cultural de lo femenino y la puesta en discusión de los sentidos alojados en el significante “mujer", en la Inglaterra decimonónica. Este artigo aborda o romance de Emily Brontë Cumbres Borrascosas, na perspectiva da história do pensamento, como uma experiência narrativa inscrita na tradição da hermenêutica do eu, e marcada pela atmosfera do momento romântico pós-revolucionário. Através da identificação de tópicos discursivos e estratégias narrativas, tentamos explorar as possibilidades enunciativas permitidas neste texto para a problematização da configuração sociocultural do feminino e a discussão dos significados alojados no significante "mulher" na Inglaterra do século XIX.
