In this paper we question the function of diagnosis and pose the symptom and its function as a compass for diagnosis in psychoanalysis. We define the symptom as an unconscious objection to the common current discourse in its capitalist and hetero-cis- normative form. We highlight the political potential of the symptom as dissidence to the dominant hegemonic discourse, a product of Western Judeo-Christian culture and biomedical discourse that is sustained by the paradigm of anatomical visual sexual difference. To this end, we analyze the dissident function of the symptom in war neurosis that objects to the military master, in hysterical conversion that objects to the medical master and the erotic norm, and the symptoms of orality - anorexia, bulimia, drug addiction - as an objection to what culture prescribes for women. Finally, we propose to think of the transvestite-trans body as a dissident symptom to the ordering that the hetero-cis-normative sexual discourse imposes, thus manifesting the discomfort in the culture of sexual difference. |

En este trabajo nos interrogamos por la función del diagnóstico y planteamos el síntoma y su función de brújula para el diagnóstico en psicoanálisis. Definimos al síntoma como objeción inconsciente al discurso corriente común en su forma capitalista y hetero-cis- normativo. Destacamos el potencial político del síntoma como disidencia al discurso hegemónico dominante, producto de la cultura occidental judeocristiana y del discurso biomédico que se sostiene en el paradigma de la diferencia sexual visual anatómica. Para ello analizamos la función disidente del síntoma en la neurosis de guerra que objeta al amo militar, en la conversión histérica que objeta al amo médico y a la norma erótica, y los síntomas de oralidad –anorexias, bulimias, toxicomanías- como objeción a lo que la cultura prescribe para las mujeres. Finalmente proponemos pensar al cuerpo travesti-trans como síntoma disidente al ordenamiento que el discurso sexual hetero-cis-normativo impone, manifestando así el malestar en la cultura de la diferencia sexual. Neste artigo questionamos a função do diagnóstico e consideramos o sintoma e sua função como uma bússola para o diagnóstico em psicanálise. Definimos o sintoma como uma objeção inconsciente ao discurso mainstream comum em sua forma capitalista e hetero-cis- normativa. Destacamos o potencial político do sintoma como dissidência ao discurso hegemônico dominante, produto da cultura judaico-cristã ocidental e do discurso biomédico que é sustentado pelo paradigma da diferença sexual visual anatômica. Para isso, analisamos a função dissidente do sintoma na neurose de guerra que se opõe ao mestre militar, na conversão histérica que se opõe ao mestre médico e à norma erótica, e os sintomas da oralidade - anorexia, bulimia, dependência de drogas - como uma objeção ao que a cultura prescreve para as mulheres. Finalmente, propomos pensar no corpo do travesti-trans como um sintoma dissidente à ordem que o discurso sexual hetero-cis-normativo impõe, manifestando assim o mal-estar na cultura da diferença sexual.
