| Sumario: | Within the framework of the ANEP-UDELAR Joint Postgraduate Program (Specialization and Master’s) in Foreign Language Teaching, there is a common curriculum focused on providing research training to students enrolled in its four specializations: French, English, Italian, and Portuguese. In this article, the faculty in charge of this seminar reflect on the experience of training students at the postgraduate level who had not acquired research literacy at the undergraduate level. After an in-depth description of the seminar design logic, they assess the research topics of interest to the participants, address critical issues in their training, and justify the chosen methodological approaches implemented. Finally, they propose recommendations for future research courses at the Master’s level within this postgraduate program. |
