| Sumario: | The present text reports a document analysis action, whose corpus is constituted by the official documentation related to the Final Paper (FP) of Degree in Pedagogy of fifty-five Brazilian federal universities. The material examined brings together three categories of documents: pedagogical project of the course, specific resolutions on the FP and guides with technical norms for the elaboration of academic works. In the documentation, the following aspects of the FP were examined: mandatory performance; official designation; public defense requirement; existence of a specific regulatory document; textual genre in which it should be presented. The results indicate that the FP is consolidated as a curricular component in the institutions studied, in line with what is recommended by the specific legislation for the training of graduates in Pedagogy. |
