The material examined brings together three categories of documents: pedagogical project of the course, specific resolutions on the FP and guides with technical norms for the elaboration of academic works. In the documentation, the following aspects of the FP were examined: mandatory performance; official designation; public defense requirement; existence of a specific regulatory document; textual genre in which it should be presented. The results indicate that the FP is consolidated as a curricular component in the institutions studied, in line with what is recommended by the specific legislation for the training of graduates in Pedagogy. O presente texto relata ação de análise documental, cujo corpus está constituído pela documentação oficial relativa ao Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (TCC) de Licenciatura em Pedagogia de cinquenta e cinco universidades federais brasileiras. O material examinado reúne três categorias de documentos: projeto pedagógico do curso, resoluções específicas sobre o TCC e guias com normas técnicas para elaboração de trabalhos acadêmicos. Na documentação foram examinados os seguintes aspectos do TCC: obrigatoriedade da realização; designação oficial; exigência de defesa pública; existência de documento específico regulamentador; gênero textual em que deve ser apresentado. Os resultados indicam que o TCC está consolidado como componente curricular nas instituições estudadas, em consonância com o que preconiza a legislação específica para a formação de licenciados em Pedagogia.
