| Sumario: | This work addresses the situation of foreign languages in the province of Santa Fe during the period 2003-2015 through the study of normative regulations, curricular production and policy implementation, particularly at the primary, secondary and tertiary levels of education. The complex and conflictive relationship established between the national state and the province is addressed deriving in results that can be characterized as disparate. Among other issues, Santa Fe has not extended the teaching of foreign languages to the entire primary level, in compliance with the Ley de Educación Nacional 26206 (article 87), which generates an onerous debt for the democratization of this area of knowledge. |
