Sumario:The article is devoted to the study of the emigration of Russian Old Believers to Brazil, the ways that allowed to maintain their linguistic identity and the features of the dialect of the Old Believers living in Brazil. The Old Believers moved to Brazil after centuries of oppression, as a result of which they first left Central Russia for the East of the country, and many of them moved to Harbin (China). After the 1949 revolution in China, they emigrated to several countries, including Brazil, managing to avoid the Estado Novo’s nationalization policy. At the beginning of the 21st century, several families of Old Believers decided to return to the Russian Far East, thus completing their round-the-world trip.
