| Sumario: | We focused this study on an immersive activity experience carried out by students of the Spanish Letters Course at the Federal University of Acre while visiting the Peruvian city of Puerto Maldonado. In order to promote reflections about this theme, we aim to identify how the experience of linguistic-cultural immersion contributed to the linguistic development of future Spanish teachers, discussing the results of an activity realized in the context of linguistic-cultural immersion in Spanish (and its different varieties) and other languages spoken at the Peruvian territory. Some of the results show that students describe the immersion practice as a fundamental element to promote the linguistic-intercultural competence which enables them to become more sensitive to the languages and cultures diversity. |
