| Sumario: | Personal archives allow the reconstruction of individual path, meanwhile configures socio- cultural vestiges relevant to the study of the recent past. They distinguished by including unpublished elements that remain confined in the domestic environment. This material is often accessed in social science research as a result of interviews with key informants. There are documentary repertoires that are not formally constituted and usually acquire visibility from investigations or their institutional transfer. This article presents two cases corresponding to artists who work in Córdoba (Argentina) during the seventies and eighties. They were addressed because of a postdoctoral scholarship and the Archivo de la Palabra y la Imagen (CEA –UNC). First, we reconstruct biographical aspects and then the characteristics of the collections. In a second instance, questions analyze the challenges presented by the tension between the limits of the protection of privacy and the public opening of materials located outside the institutional circuits. It follows an interdisciplinary perspective. One of the conclusions is based on the undetected patrimonial value and the need for its recovery, as they are formed in local social memory supports. |
