In the period from 1870 to 1890, as many female religious congregations were born in Córdoba as never before recorded in other provinces. In this work we propose to study five of them from the archival perspective: Esclavas del Corazón de Jesús (1872), Terciarias Misioneras Franciscanas (1878), Hermanas Adoratrices Argentinas (1885), Dominicas de San José (1886) and Mercedarias del Niño Jesús (1887). Aimed at the instruction of children and female youth, they constituted the answer given by the Church, at the national level, but Córdoba in particular, to the attacks of secularization intended by the State.
We analyzed the content of their documentary heritage, the logics and dynamics of their organizational structure in the city of Córdoba, through their statutes, constitutions and documents. We focus on their archives and their documents, these institutes of religious life did not have access to archival treatment, the knowledge they had, came from a practical attitude. We have tried to explain the reflective skills that they developed to organize their archives and detect aspects of the archival treatment of identification, classification, organization and installation. It is also wanted to construe the determinations to which they look to without draw on to archival theory or if the constitutive documents contained a guide about it.

En el período que va de 1870 a 1890 nacieron en Córdoba tantas congregaciones religiosas femeninas como no se registró jamás en otras provincias. En este trabajo nos proponemos estudiar desde la perspectiva archivística cinco de ellas: Esclavas del Corazón de Jesús (1872), Terciarias Misioneras Franciscanas (1878), Hermanas Adoratrices Argentinas (1885), Dominicas de San José (1886) y Mercedarias del Niño Jesús (1887). Direccionadas a la instrucción de la niñez y juventud femenina constituyeron la respuesta que dio la Iglesia, a nivel nacional, pero Córdoba en particular, a los embates de laicización pretendidos por el Estado. Se analiza el contenido de su patrimonio documental y con qué lógicas y dinámicas construyeron su estructura organizativa en la ciudad de Córdoba, a través de sus estatutos, constituciones y documentos. Nos enfocamos en sus archivos y sus documentos, pues estos institutos de vida religiosa no tuvieron acceso a una formación archivística, los conocimientos con los que contaron derivaron de una actitud práctica. Se pretende explicar las habilidades reflexivas que desarrollaron para organizar sus archivos y detectar aspectos del tratamiento archivístico de identificación, clasificación, ordenación e instalación. También se quiere interpretar las determinaciones a las que recurrieron sin recurrir a la teoría archivística o bien si los documentos constitutivos contenían una guía al respecto.
