Observatorio Astronómico de Córdoba: Clasificación y Ordenación del Archivo Fotográfico Villanueva , Tito Gustavo In the final work, the archival treatment necessary to organize the Photographic Archive of the Astronomical Observatory of Córdoba was investigated. For this, we worked on the archival procedures that must be applied: the identification, classification and documentary organization. We sought to demonstrate the benefits of implementing the archival treatment, as well as the importance of organizing the photographic archive of one of the oldest and most important scientific institutions in the country, with international relevance. The research carried out is qualitative of an exploratory and descriptive nature. At first, the historical method was applied to determine the context of production. The history of the institution and the usefulness of photographic plates were investigated. A posteriori, the archival method was used, in which the identification, records classification and records organization were addressed, as well as the founding principles of archival science: Principle of Provenance and Principle of Original Order. Keywords: photographic archives, records classification, records organization En el trabajo final se investigó sobre el tratamiento archivístico necesario para organizar el Archivo Fotográfico del Observatorio Astronómico de Córdoba. Para ello, se trabajó sobre los procedimientos archivísticos que se deben aplicar; la identificación, clasificación y ordenación documental. Se buscó evidenciar los beneficios de implementar el tratamiento archivístico, como así también, la importancia de organizar el Archivo Fotográfico de una de las instituciones científicas más antiguas e importantes del país, de relevancia internacional. La investigación realizada es cualitativa de carácter exploratorio descriptivo. En un primer momento se aplicó el método histórico para determinar el contexto de producción. Se investigó sobre la historia de la institución y la utilidad de las placas fotográficas. A posteriori, se trabajó con el método archivístico, en el cual se abordaron la identificación, clasificación y ordenación documental, como así también se tuvieron en cuenta los principios fundantes de la archivología: Principio de Procedencia y Principio de Orden Original.
