| Sumario: | The purpose of this research is to propose an Institutional Archives System for the Provincial University of Córdoba, an institution created in 2007 from eight entities that belonged to the tertiary education sector of the province, some with more than one hundred years of experience. They are: School of Fine Arts "José Figueroa Alcorta", Conservatory of Music "Felix Garzon", School of Ceramics "Fernando Arranz", Provincial Institute of Physical Education, School of Applied Arts "Lino Eneas Spilimbergo", School of Tourism and Hospitality "Montes Pacheco", Institute of Higher Education "Dr. Domingo Cabred "and Integral Theater School "Roberto Arlt". The hypothesis is that the lack of an Archives System in the Provincial University of Córdoba hinders the recovery of information. For this reason, the implementation of the proposed institutional archives system aims to achieve better management performance, streamline processes, ensure excellent handling of documents and know the documentary heritage. This is a descriptive research, based on primary and secondary sources, observation techniques and data collection through instruments such as questionnaires and interviews.
