Este artículo presenta en forma sintética los principales aspectos estudiados en una Tesis de Maestría.La tesis aborda la temática de la Evaluación Documental desde una perspectiva teórico–evolutiva con un enfoque transdisciplinar y énfasis legislativo, a través de un estudio comparado integrando distintas visiones de diversos autores a lo largo del siglo XX hasta la actualidad.Además del estudio teórico -por autor y su análisis comparado-, del aporte normativo nacional e internacional y de un planteo transdisciplinar, el trabajo de investigación concluye con un conjunto de reflexiones, recomendaciones y consideraciones finales, sumado a un nutrido Glosario y una amplia Bibliografía de autores pertenecientes a las tradiciones archivísticas, fundamentalmente, hispana y anglosajona.AbstractThis paper presents synthetically the main aspects studied in an Master thesis.The thesis addresses the issue of the Archival and Records Appraisal from a theoretical-evolutive perspective with a trans-disciplinary approach and emphasis in the legislative, through a comparative study that integrates different views from different authors throughout the twentieth century to the present.Other than the theoretical study (by author and their compared analysis) of the national and international normative contribution and a trans-disciplinary presentation, the research concludes with a set of reflections, recommendations and final considerations, adding a large glossary and an extensive bibliography of authors from archival traditions, mainly Hispanic and Anglo.Key Words: Archival Science, Archival and Records Appraisal, Records Management / Administration.
