The complexity of the matter that gives rise to this monograph is not lost on us. We understand the difficulties we must overcome. And after starting the task, we are sustained in the fight by the desire to penetrate the study of this discipline, not with "master's degree" packaging, but with the sincere enthusiasm of a student, with the same enthusiasm that made us cross the cloisters of our university. This little work, this unpretentious monograph, this effort that we make for our intellectual improvement, must be considered for what it is: an essay of youth.Among us, on the other hand, we do not have an abundant bibliography.The note proceduralists avoid the issue. And it seems that the old masters of Argentine law have not stopped sufficiently to consider it. We must supply all this with our personal research and with our recent studies.And as the only aspiration of all this, we carry the desire to produce a work that, although small, leaves some useful sediment.Under such concepts and bases, the present work should be considered Cordoba, April 1927. Al imponer la Academia de Ciencias Morales y Políticas de Francia, para optar al premio "Odilón Barrot - 1925", el tema ''El secreto profesional", lo hizo considerando la enorme importancia intrínseca del mismo y sus vastas proyecciones en el campo del derecho. No se nos escapa la complejidad de la materia que da motivo a esta monografía. Comprendemos las dificultades que debemos vencer. Y después de iniciada la tarea, nos sostiene en la lucha el afán de penetrar en el estudio de esta disciplina, no con empaques de "magíster", sino con sincero entusiasmo de estudiante, con ese mismo entusiasmo que nos hiciera cruzar los claustros de nuestra universidad. Este pequeño trabajo, esta monografía sin pretensiones, este esfuerzo que realizamos en pro de nuestro mejoramiento intelectual, debe considerarse como lo que es: un ensayo de juventud.Entre nosotros, por otra parte, no disponemos de bibliografía abundante.Los procesalistas de nota eluden el tema. Y los viejos maestros del derecho argentino parece que no se han detenido suficientemente a considerarlo. Debemos suplir todo esto con nuestra investigación personal y con nuestros estudios recientes.Y como única aspiración de todo ello, llevamos el afán de producir una obra que aunque pequeña, deje algún sedimento de utilidad.Bajo tales conceptos y bases debe considerarse el presente trabajo Córdoba, Abril de 1927.
