Al reunir en este folleto, a manera de acotaciones de Clase, todo cuanto me es posible presentar al lector una ordenación clara sobre el tema Desformación de los Sistemas Planos, no pretendo en modo alguno escribir un texto completo, sino más bien juntar en un solo trabajo, los Apuntes que en forma dispersa he publicado en la "Revista de la Universidad” y en el "Boletín de la Facultad", ampliando o aclarando los conceptos, introduciendo modificaciones que simplifican y generalizan los procedimientos ,y realizando algunos ejercicios aclaratorios sobre todo en la que se refiere al manejo de las unidades en que deben medirse las magnitudes numéricas que se utilizan.
