| Sumario: | We have carried out the present research, which constitutes a geological synopsis of the Ambargasta mountain range, taking into account that it would represent a contribution to the knowledge of the northern termination of the Sierra de Córdoba, a fraction about which very little had been written until now. We had in mind the existence of a sedimentary cover of sandstones that by their appearance seemed to be older than the age generally attributed to the analogous formations of the Sierras Pampeanas and corresponding to the Gondwana System. |
