Este acto es un reflejo del fenómeno de renovación que la vida ofrece en su constante devenir: llegan unos, dispuestos al estudio y al esfuerzo, anhelosos del trabajo que dignifica y del saber que mejora y eleva; y se alejan otros, pletóricos de ensueños y esperanzas, tras el ideal que alienta los pasos de toda existencia humana; pero, si debo el saludo de bienvenida a unos, y a otros, la expresión de despedida, todos tienen derecho a esperar de mi investidura y de mis años, la palabra meditada y serena, que invite a la reflexión y al estudio.
