Sumario:In order to determine how often the pollen extracts used in the Faculty's Allergy Center give positive reactions, we collected 453 records of patients assisted in said Service for study. To do this, from the medical records existing at the date of initiation of this work (March 1943) we have taken only those with clinical data, analyzes and tests in sufficient number to make the nosological, differential and etiological diagnoses valid, considering only the cases of asthma and rhinitis, associated or not with other allergic manifestations. Cases of hives, migraine, itching; Qnincke's edema, etc., which had not concomitantly presented asthma or rhinitis, were not taken into account.
