In this article we inquire about the restitution of order in the campaign and the city in the most immediate post-war period. For this, we analyze the measures of demobilization and disarmament of the armies, the eventual fate of the rebel officers and the material consequences of the pacification policies. We show that a combination of coercion and persuasion from Buenos Aires leaders´ allowed re-establishing order in the campaign.
