| Sumario: | This work proposes to investigate the experience of the Unión Ferroviaria in the second half of the thirties. As the most relevant trade union structure of the time, it was barely addressed in its political orientations and here we investigate its performance in light of its claim of prescindencia. To do this, we will analyze the relationship of the union leadership with the workers in connection with the political identity of radicalism; relations with the State and governments; the assessments of the political, social and economic sphere of the national and international reality; and, finally, the links with the left. |
