Sumario:This work explores the justices of the peace in the city of Buenos Aires based on their relationship with other local authorities, especially with the commissioners. The objective is to problematize the experiences of the agents and their daily practices in the face of the jurisdictional changes carried out during the 1830s. The changes in the territorial dimension of the justice of the peace and the police are analyzed in order to establish the jurisdictional crossings between both authorities and the conflict that it aroused. At the same time, the modifications in the administration of low justice introduced by the rosismo are studied.
