First, the text reconstructs the local circulation of North American sociologists since the beginning of the 20th century and then focuses on the time in which the functionalists began to spread locally, that is, the first Peronist government. Later, the analysis focuses especially on two sociologists: Gino Germani and José Enrique Miguens.
