The article examines the perspective with which Lapalma proposed the Catholic action in favor of the working woman, and particularly, her proposal of social mobilization of the feminine laity and the place that in this one occupied the interpellation to the worker. Three speeches from her book Acción pública y privada en favor de la mujer y del niño en la República Argentina: discursos y conferencias published in 1910 are analyzed. Celia Lapalma de Emery fue una de las referentes del laicado católico argentino de principios del siglo XX, especializada en el trabajo de la mujer y el niño en la ciudad de Buenos Aires. El artículo examina la perspectiva con que Lapalma planteó la acción católica en favor de la mujer obrera, y particularmente, su propuesta de movilización social del laicado femenino y el lugar que en esta ocupaba la interpelación a la obrera. Se analizan tres discursos de su libro Acción pública y privada en favor de la mujer y del niño en la República Argentina: discursos y conferencias publicado en 1910.
