| Sumario: | Both authors found in the Multi-Annual Research Project “Prácticas, saberes, territorios. Articulaciones entre academia y activismos" (PIP CONICET) a space to investigate and reflect on an issue that challenges us from our own teaching practices: Educación Sexual Integral (ESI).
In this work, we aim to write collaboratively, intertwining landscapes and harmonizing words, to explore the situation of Educación Sexual Integral in two Argentine provinces. We are interested in tracing the journey of ESI from its controversial emergence in 2006 as a public policy, through the debates that erupted in 2018 regarding the presentation of a ESI reform project in Congress, to the current strategy of Emotional Education as a displacement of ESI. We will also investigate the epistemes that shape, sustain, and strain the debates around ESI in 2018.
The writing is shaped by the intersection of teaching and activism; pedagogies and epistemologies, authorizing the voices of the interviewees with whom the authors engaged in conversation. |
