The coyoyo or wild silk weavers keep alive a practice that, as part of a family task, requires a coordination of efforts, as well as the raising of animals. Both tasks show the strong relationship of affectivity and linkage in which humans, animals and the forest are involved. Local knowledge, learning, experiences, stories and past times that are also present appear, interwoven like silk. Este artículo, a modo de etnografía, se acerca a los habitantes de la Sierra de Ancasti, provincia de Catamarca, e intenta resaltar cómo algunas costumbres tradicionales y ancestrales se mantienen vigentes, y se entrelazan en el día a día. Las tejedoras de coyoyo o seda silvestre mantienen viva una práctica que, como parte una tarea familiar, requiere de una coordinación de esfuerzos, así como también lo es la crianza de animales. Ambas tareas dan cuenta de la fuerte relación de afectectividad y vincularidad en la que se ven implicadxs lxs humanos, lxs animales y el monte. Conocimientos locales, aprendizajes, vivencias, historias y tiempos pasados que son también presentes van apareciendo, entretejidos como la seda. Este artigo, na forma de uma etnografia, aborda os habitantes da Serra de Ancasti, na província de Catamarca, e tenta destacar como alguns costumes tradicionais e ancestrais são mantidos vivos e entrelaçados na vida cotidiana. O coyo ou tecelão de seda selvagem mantém viva uma prática que, como parte de uma tarefa familiar, requer uma coordenação de esforços, assim como a criação de animais. Ambas as tarefas mostram a forte relação de afetividade e vinculação na qual estão envolvidos seres humanos, animais e a floresta. Aparecem conhecimentos locais, aprendizados, experiências, histórias e tempos passados que também estão presentes, entrelaçados como a seda.
