From indigenous intellectuals to academics or state policies such as those held by the governments of Andean countries like Bolivia and Ecuador. We propose to think Good Living not as an alternative development program within the framework of the capitalist system, but as a form of social political relationship that takes up the principles of reciprocity and complementarity as guiding axes of life in society. En este artículo nos proponemos explorar la concepción del Buen Vivir desde distintas acepciones. Desde las de intelectuales indígenas hasta académicos o políticas estatales como las que sostienen los gobiernos de países andinos como Bolivia y Ecuador. Proponemos pensar el Buen Vivir no como un programa de desarrollo alternativo en el marco del sistema capitalista, sino como una forma de relacionamiento social política que retoma los principios de reciprocidad y complementariedad como ejes rectores de la vida en sociedad.
