| Sumario: | This article examines currently available Russian-language historiography related to the missions of the Paraguay Jesuit province, beginning with the translated literature of the 19th century and ending with modern editions. Considering the Russian-language literature, the author pays attention to the history of the development of the concept of the "state of the Jesuits in Paraguay". This article is intended to serve as a bridge between Spanish-speaking and Russian-speaking researchers, promote mutual understanding and cooperation. Thanks to this article, it will be easier for Spanish-speaking researchers to understand what material Russian-speaking colleagues had in the past and now, understand the methodological positions of Russian-speaking colleagues, and what often determines our conclusions. The Russian-speaking scientific space in this article refers mainly to the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus. |
