Starting with several theoretical distinctions, and the comparison between the poem and the novel, the following three topics are analyzed: the “death of the author”, the “infinite intertext”, and the “referential illusion”. En este artículo se estudian las relaciones de intertextualidad entre el soneto “Un hidalgo” de Carlos Marcos Corti y el tratado tercero del Lazarillo de Tormes, “Cómo Lázaro se asentó con un escudero y de lo que le acaesció con él”, con referencias a otros textos, como “Un hidalgo” por Azorín. A partir de varios deslindes teóricos preliminares y la comparación entre el poema y la novela, se estudia el soneto en el marco de estos tres temas: la “muerte del autor”, el “infinito intertextual” y la “ilusión referencial”.
