The case under consideration is the connection between Uruguayan writer José Enrique Rodó (1871-1917) and the literary magazine Nosotros (1907-1943), edited in Buenos Aires. Those relationships are complementary and asymmetrical, at the same time, and are defined by the distinct forms of cultural intermediation and linkage of those times, such as the role of literary magazines or Rodó’s intellectual figure. Both of them function as regional and Hispanic American vectors of integration.  El objetivo de este artículo es reflexionar, a partir de las vinculaciones entre el escritor uruguayo José Enrique Rodó (1871-1917) y la revista Nosotros (1907-1943) editada en Buenos Aires, acerca de las relaciones de legitimación literaria que se producen en una misma región geocultural, aunque sesgada por distintos contextos nacionales. Esas relaciones son a la vez complementarias y asimétricas, marcadas por distintas formas de intermediación cultural y religación posibles en el período, desde el rol de las revistas literarias y culturales hasta la figura intelectual de Rodó, que funcionan como vectores de integración regional e hispanoamericana.
