Information regarding their gender, age, years of exposure, number of lesions, and their location in the mouth was collected. It was found that 80% of the workers were men, with an average age of 50.9 ± 19.2 years and an average of 16.6 ± 10.1 years engaged in this activity. Oral lesions were observed in 7 out of the 10 subjects, with 5 of these lesions occurring in individuals with more than 5 years of experience in the activity. 43% of the lesions were observed on one of the cheeks in the form of erythema. In conclusion, most of the involved workers are men and the injuries tend to appear in the long term and on the cheeks. El objetivo fue determinar la cantidad de lesiones bucales según el tiempo de exposición a la actividad de succión de gasolina y su ubicación en la cavidad oral. Se realizó un estudio descriptivo y transversal en 10 trabajadores informales del municipio de Maicao, Colombia. Se indagó sobre su sexo, edad, años de exposición, número de lesiones y su ubicación en boca. Se encontró que el 80% de los trabajadores eran hombres con media de edad de 50,9 ± 19,2 años y 16,6 ± 10,1 años realizando tal actividad. En 7 de los 10 se percibieron lesiones orales, 5 de estas en sujetos con más de 5 años de experiencia en la actividad. El 43% de las lesiones se observaron en uno de los carrillos, en forma de eritemas.
