The dental record is the most common type of development and is involved in wrapping an included tooth crown and connecting to the tooth through the cementoenamel junction. Having a prevalence in the first three decades of life, with a predilection for males. Radiographically, dental cysts appear as a radiological, unilocular or multilocular lesion with well-defined and radiopaque edges associated with the crown of an included tooth. Usually, dental cysts are submitted to surgery by enucleation or marsupialization. The objective of the article is to illustrate a case of dental diagnosis, thus showing the characteristics from the type of lesion and the best treatment method. Patient in postoperative follow-up and without complications. Los quistes se definen por la existencia de una cavidad revestida de células epiteliales y llena de un líquido secretado por ellas. El quiste dentígero es el tipo más común de quiste de desarrollo y se caracteriza por envolver la corona de un diente incluido y conectarse al diente a través de la unión cemento-esmalte. Tener una prevalencia en las primeras tres décadas de la vida, con predilección por los hombres. Radiográficamente, los quistes dentígeros aparecen como una lesión radiolúcida, unilocular o multilocular con bordes bien definidos y radiopacos asociados con la corona de un diente incluido. Los quistes dentígeros generalmente se tratan quirúrgicamente mediante enucleación o marsupialización. El propósito de este artículo es ilustrar un caso de quiste dentígero, mostrando así las características de este tipo de lesión y sus formas apropiadas para el tratamiento. Paciente en seguimiento postoperatorio y sin complicaciones.
