In relating the radiographic to the histological findings the 78,9% of the 19 definite radiopaque halo cysts faund to be thick fibrous capsules. The 68,4% of the long existing cysts and formen fistulas and closed diffused or discontinued halo cysts and cyts without halo were found to be Se estudiaron clínica, radiográfica, quirúrgica e histopatológicamente 34 pacientes afectados de quistes paradentarios. Radiográficamente pudimos determinar 82% de quistes paradentarios apendiculares y 18% residuales. Un 61,2% presentaba halo radiopaco bien definido que rodeaba un área radiolúcida; 20,6% aparecían interrumpido o difuso; 18,2% faltaba. Se relacionaron los hallazgos radiográficos con –los histológicos encontrando que de los 19 quistes con halo radiopaco bien  .Pfiludo el 78,9% correspondía a cápsulas fibrosas gruesas. El 68,4% a quistes de larga data, que habían fistulizado y cerrado. Los quistes que radiográficamente aparecían con halo difuso, interrumpido o faltaba co"rrespondían a cápsulas desgarradas 46,6o/0 ; quistes infectados el 60%; con procesos aguclos donde el epitelío faltaba un 26,3%; o estaba desgarrado el 26,3%; hiperplasiado 1'5,7%; con hiperplasia pseudo- ameloblastomatosa el 10,2¡% y Pseudo- epitelioma tosa 5,5%.
