Two acrylic models of complete dental arches were used (one for the upper jaw and another for the lower jaw), to which the teeth were discarded, leaving the alveoli empty. Next, the dental arches with extracted natural teeth were reconstructed and then the assembly of both models was carried out in occlude. The suggested experimental model was shown to be suitable for the teaching of endodontic procedures. En este artículo se describe la construcción y laimplementación de un modelo experimental confiable ypreciso para el entrenamiento preclínico para la enseñanza delas técnicas endodónticas. Se emplearon dos modelos deacrílico de arcadas dentarias completas (uno para el maxilarsuperior y otro para el maxilar inferior), a los cuales se lesdescartaron los dientes, dejando los alveolos vacíos. Acontinuación, se reconstruyeron las arcadas dentarias condientes naturales extraídos y seguidamente se realizó elmontaje de ambos modelos en un oclusor. El modeloexperimental sugerido mostró ser apto para la enseñanza delos procedimientos endodónticos.
